long time, no blog...
On 2nd April, I did a talk/demo at the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT) in Liverpool, as part of a day long event called PEOPLE : PLACE : PRESENCE, a day of debate and presentation of sonic art and audiovisual performance.
As part of the demo - I collected together all the sound sketches I've made in Second Life™ world over the last 2 years, which showed some of the ways you can create a Sonic Art work that dealt with PEOPLE (AVATARS) : PLACE (VIRTUAL) : PRESENCE (TELE)
Thanks to Terry Lightfoot, Nikk Huet and Kisa Naumova for helping out on the night, demonstrating the social aspect of some of the Sound sketches that I create.
If you are interested I'm going to keep the collection up till the end of the month and can be found at:

Sorry I couldn't join you in world angry, little one did a big sick. Sounds like it was a success, did you document the event at all?
Yep, it was filmed on HD - so might get some grabs of that in the future.
Really enjoyed the presentation last night, great to see a presentation and walk through in SL. I think you could do this a lot more in art environment set-ups. Hats off!
